Financing allows you to tackle necessary upgrades now and pay for them over time. Benefits include:
Don’t put off an essential repair or replacement because of cost. Financing lets you replace a failing boiler, install central air, or upgrade to a tankless water heater right away.
Avoid large upfront expenses and spread your payments over time with affordable monthly options that fit your budget.
Energy-efficient systems can lower your utility bills every month. Financing and rebates make it easy to start saving sooner.
Choose from low-interest or same-as-cash plans to make your project more affordable and stress-free.
The Mass Save® HEAT Loan Program provides 0% interest financing for qualified Massachusetts homeowners who make energy-efficient improvement. As a participant you may qualify for loans ranging from $500 up to $25,000 with terms up to seven years.
Eligible projects include:
• Heat Pumps (Ductless Mini Splits)
• Heat-Pump Water Heaters
In addition to the HEAT Loan, Mass Save® offers rebates up to $10,000 for installations like whole-home heat pumps. These incentives help lower the initial investment and improve your home’s long-term energy efficiency.
To apply:
Visit the Mass Save® eligibility page to see if your household qualifies for rebates. Homeowners who pay their electric bill to Eversource or National Grid may be eligible.
Contact a participating contractor (that’s us!) and request a proposal. Approved improvements should not begin until you receive authorization from a participating lender.
Work with a HEAT loan administrator to complete your loan application.
We apply for the rebate on your behalf so you don’t have to worry about the forms or submissions.
After installation, you may also be eligible for a federal tax credit of up to $2,000 when filing your annual income tax return.
